Apologise to Oritsejafor, Christian youths tell S-South bishops

DESPITE the suspension by Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, of some bishops from the South South geo-political region of the country over alleged anti-Christian activities, a group of Christian youths, Christian Youth Movement for Emancipation and Justice, CYMEJ, has given them an ultimatum for recently employing abusive language on the person of CAN president, to publicly retract such invectives or risk being exposed.

Reacting to media reports purportedly at the instance of a group known as Global Peace Relief Initiative, led by Prophet Jones Erue, who initiated what was said to be an unauthorised dialogue between two Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, factions, chairman of CYMEJ, Mr. Thomas Ibrahim, faulted the group members.
Ibrahim said:  “If they are truly men of God, as they claimed, and they are genuinely pursuing dialogue in a political party, why are they making reference to the CAN president’s private jet and what is the involvement of grey hairs? For persons who claim to be prophets in the household of God to employ such derogatory language on their leaders shows the level of mentorship they received from their mentor.” He noted that if members of the said group fail to tender the apology within seven days “we will not hesitate to invite the Economic Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC to investigate their sponsors.”
