Justin
Bieber's
bodyguard allegedly threatened to kill a photographer for taking pictures of
the 19-year-old star outside a recording studio in June.
The
'Believe' hitmaker is being sued by Jeffrey Binion, who claims one of
the singer's minders choked him and stole his camera equipment in Miami,
Florida, before threatening him with a gun earlier this year.
In his
court deposition, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, the paparazzo said he was
confronted by the star's friends, Lil Za and Lil Twist, and two
of his bodyguards.
A
struggle broke out, which lasted between three to five minutes, when Lil Za
tried to wrench the camera from Binion's hands, while Lil Twist
allegedly egged him on.
The
photographer, who is suing Justin and one of his bodyguards, saying he suffered
bodily injury, pain and suffering, mental anguish and incurred medical expenses
following the incident, said he was forced to delete the photographs because
the bodyguard had him in a choke hold.
Justin is
schedule to give his deposition next month and wants the details to be kept
secret.
The
singer's lawyers have asked for the footage to be kept under lock and key, with
the documents stating they feel ''it is highly likely that the entire
deposition will be published to the public.''
They are
said to be concerned the questioning will include lots of topics unrelated to
the case, and are also requesting no copies be made of the recording.
In
addition, the legal team want to pick the videographer themselves.
